Geraldo Perdomo among 3 Diamondbacks Silver Slugger finalists
Diamondbacks shortstop Geraldo Perdomo, along with Carroll and second baseman Ketel Marte have been nominated as Silver Slugger finalists on Oct. 22.
Perdomo led National League shortstops in OPS at .851. He also was tops among NL shortstops in on-base percentage (.389). He was the only shortstop in the National League to collect 100 RBIs.
Carroll is also contending for his first Silver Slugger, as no NL outfielders had a higher slugging percentage than his .541. He also ranked second among NL outfielders in terms of OPS (.883). His 107 runs scored ranks third for NL outfielders and his 31 home runs are tied for third.
Marte won the NL Silver Slugger for second basemen in 2024, and looks to win it again. His on-base percentage (.376), slugging percentage (.517) and OPS (.893) all led second basemen in the NL. His 28 homers also led the NL among second basemen.
