The Los Angeles Dodgers announced that Alex Vesia is currently away from the team as he attends to a “deeply personal family matter.” The entire Dodgers community is hoping for the best and sending support to the Vesia family.

In other news, future Hall of Famer Clayton Kershaw’s status for the World Series has been revealed. A victory in the Fall Classic would be a storybook way to end his 18-year career, and to do it all with one team makes his illustrious tenure that much more meaningful.

Finally, Toronto Blue Jays slugger George Springer was asked about the cheating scandal that had to do with his former team, the Houston Astros, namely during their 2017 World Series “win” over the Dodgers. Springer brushed off the question and spoke on his current plan of action instead.

Part of the Blue Jays attempt to recruit Shohei Ohtani was by presenting some gifts for his dog, Decoy.
