Tennessee baseball will play an Orange and White World Series game at Covenant Health Park.
The game will be at 1 p.m. ET on Nov. 9. Tickets start at $14.
The Knoxville Smokies, the Double-A affiliate of the Chicago Cubs, and One Knox soccer team play home games at Covenant Health Park, which opened in 2025.
The Vols are in the middle of coaching search after Tony Vitello left to become the San Francisco Giants’ manager on Oct. 22.
UT opened fall ball with a scrimmage on Sept. 25 at Lindsey Nelson Stadium.
UT played an intrasquad scrimmage at Chattanooga’s AT&T Field on Oct. 4 and will be at Nashville’s First Horizon Park at 1 p.m. ET on Oct. 26 as part of the fall baseball season. Tennessee has typically played games against other programs in the fall, but is opting for the pair of scrimmages instead this season.The Vols are coming off a fifth straight super regional appearance. They have reached the College World Series three times in those five seasons, including when they won the 2024 national championship. It marked the program’s first CWS title.
UT played Western Kentucky and Troy in exhibitions at First Horizon Park in Nashville and Jackson, respectively, in October 2024.
In 2023, the Vols played Virginia Tech on Oct. 22 in Greeneville in a game hosted by Tusculum University and then faced Samford in November in Nashville. Tennessee hosted Wake Forest at Lindsey Nelson Stadium in an exhibition in October 2022 before facing Memphis in a neutral-site game in Jackson in November 2022.
