The time for the first pitch of Tennessee baseball’s Orange and White World Series game on Nov. 9 at Covenant Health Park has changed.
The first look at the Vols under new coach Josh Elander will be played at 5 p.m. ET instead of 1 p.m. Gates will open at 3:30 p.m. for the intrasquad scrimmage, which will be the final game of Tennessee’s fall season.
Tickets start at $17.45 and can be purchased on Ticketmaster.
Elander was hired on Oct. 25 to replace Tony Vitello, who left the Vols to become the new manager of the San Francisco Giants.
Covenant Health Park, which opened in 2025, is the home of the the Knoxville Smokies, the Double-A affiliate of the Chicago Cubs, and One Knoxville SC, which plays in USL League 1.
Tennessee’s fall ball opened with a scrimmage on Sept. 25 at Lindsey Nelson Stadium. The Vols played a scrimmage in Chattanooga and were scheduled to play in Nashville before it was canceled because of weather.
