The baseball world is still buzzing over the dramatic end to the World Series, but we press on. The offseason starts almost the second the final out is recorded, with the league’s 30 teams now in five-day window during which they have a chance to negotiate exclusively with their own free agents and to tender said free agents a qualifying offer. Free agency begins in earnest this Friday; for a complete look at the important dates for this offseason, check out our primer. And on the site today, we’ll have more offseason analysis, with Nick discussing the outfield as the Yankees’ primary offseason priority. Also, Peter will continue our report card series with a look at Amed Rosario’s brief pinstripes tenure. Later, Maximo will run through how the Yankees, and the Dodgers, showed this year the difficulties in trying to build a great bullpen, and Michael takes a look at the shifting role of the starting pitcher in the postseason.

Questions/Prompts:

1. What would you say was the best game of this World Series? Does it just have to be Game 7, or do the thrillers in Games 3 and 6 have your heart?

2. Will the Yankees tender any qualifying offers this week?
