Wait, you wanted to know who will win the Kyle Tucker sweepstakes instead? Based on how the past couple of offseasons have gone, I can tell you that the Blue Jays and the Giants are both in the mix. Neither team will sign him, though.

I have bad news for Giants fans: on a quiet night in the middle of November, at 2:17 AM, Buster Posey will hop on a kayak and sail off into McCovey Cove, never to be seen again. Ownership has decided to bring back Farhan Zaidi to replace him, and the team’s free agency woes come back to haunt them. He has been unable to spend a single dime more than necessary on the roster, meaning no free agent signings or current player re-signings have been made: only players currently in the organization with team control through 2028 are on the roster.
