Milwaukee Brewers fans boarded the Amtrak train in Milwaukee for Chicago for the playoff game against the Chicago Cubs
The Milwaukee Brewers announced game times for their 2026 schedule, with one notable change. The Brewers bumped Friday night games up to 6:40 p.m. CT and will host all weekday evening games at that time.
The move essentially eliminates the 7:10 p.m. start time from the home calendar. Weekday games have been played in recent years at 6:40 p.m., initially only during April, May and September, but that start time moved to a full-season deployment in 2025. Friday games kept the traditional 7:10 p.m. first pitch, but not anymore.
Fan feedback sparked the change, indicated Tyler Barnes, the team’s vice president of communications.
All Saturday regular-season home games will feature the same first-pitch time, at 3:10 p.m. or 6:10 p.m., with one exception (Aug. 22 vs. Atlanta, 1:10 p.m.). Sunday home games will begin at 1:10 p.m., also with one exception (the regular-season finale Sept. 27 against St. Louis, 2:10 p.m.).
The Brewers will open the season at home in 2026 with a 1:10 p.m. start Thursday, March 26 against the Chicago White Sox.
Weekday day games will begin at 12:40 p.m. in April and May, then move to 1:10 p.m. for the rest of the season, with exceptions on opening day and Memorial Day (May 25 vs. St. Louis), both starting at 1:10 p.m., as well as July 24 vs. Colorado (3:10 p.m.) and Aug. 21 vs. Atlanta (3:10 p.m.).
Still listed with a time to be announced is the Sunday, Aug. 23, game against the Atlanta Braves, potentially because the game will be played in Pennsylvania as part of the Little League Classic.
