BRIGHTON, N.Y. — Ernie Clement, a Brighton native and infielder for the Toronto Blue Jays, delivered an outstanding performance in the 2025 MLB postseason. Clement batted .411, the highest average among batters with at least 30 at-bats, and recorded an OPS of .978.

Clement set a Major League Baseball record with 30 hits in a single postseason. He also recorded 10 multi-hit games, another baseball record.

While the postseason ended in disappointment for Clement and the Blue Jays, his remarkable October performance is sure to be remembered by fans in Rochester, Brighton, and Canada.
