Milwaukee Journal Sentinel
Journal Sentinel reporters Todd Rosiak and Curt Hogg will begin handing out their grades and analysis for the Milwaukee Brewers‘ 2025 season in a series of stories starting Sunday, Nov. 9.
The grades package will include an analysis of the season and overall grades for the Brewers in several team categories such as offense and defense, as well as individual player grades grouped by position (pitchers, catchers, outfielders, infielders).
The season didn’t end as the Brewers had hoped, as they mustered only 14 hits, a .118 batting average and four runs while being swept by the Los Angeles Dodgers in the National League Championship Series. But they did far exceed outside expectations by notching a franchise-record 97 victories — best in the major leagues — and winning a playoff series for the first time since 2018 by beating the rival Chicago Cubs in the NL Division Series. The season also included winning streaks of eight, 11 and 14 games.
You can find the Brewers team grades on Sunday morning at jsonline.com/brewers and in the Sunday Sports section of the Journal Sentinel. Other parts will appear on subsequent days.
But first, here’s a chance for you to grade the Brewers’ overall performance. Does the disappointing end to the postseason outweigh the regular-season successes? Or does the string of highlights throughout the season and ouster of the Cubs weigh more heavily?
Choose your grade for the season below. Results will be revealed on Monday, Nov. 10.
