The Marlins claimed Brzykcy off waivers Thursday from the Nationals.
Brzykcy appeared in 26 games with the Nationals in 2025, posting a 9.00 ERA and a 24:12 K:BB across 23 innings. He closed out the season at Triple-A Rochester, but he logged a 17.18 ERA across 11 innings with Rochester after being optioned there Aug. 5. Brzykcy will get a fresh start in Miami.
