NEW YORK, NY. (KFVS) – St. Louis Cardinals’ Utility Player, Alec Burleson, won his first Silver Slugger award.
Major League Baseball announced the 2025 Silver Slugger winners on Thursday.
The win gives Burleson his first Silver Slugger Award.
The 26-year-old batted .290 with 18 home runs, 69 RBIs and an .801 OPS during the season.
Burleson is the first Cardinal to win a Silver Slugger since Nolan Arenado and Paul Goldschmidt both won the award in 2022.
