Happy Friday, everyone, and now that the free agency market is open following the end of the qualifying offer window, things are about to get very exciting around baseball over the coming months. It should be interesting to see what teams make an effort to compete next year (will the Dodgers try to make a trade with the Tigers to add Skubal to their roster?) and which teams won’t make any effort at all (looking at you Tigers, don’t disappoint us).
There will be plenty of speculation and contract-watching, so we will have a lot to keep us busy.

Speaking of Skubal, he spent some of his offseason watching the AFL.
Can’t wait to see this guy in the majors.
