The Astros are down to three starting pitchers with legitimate MLB experience. (Oh yeah, McCullers too) And yet, the Astros keep managing to win games with pitchers who just last year, nay last week, were throwing in AAA. Tonight it’s Brandon Walter, 28 year-old, 26th round draft pick of the Boston Red Sox with just 23.0 innings of MLB experience, starting in his first MLB game.
