Coach Steven Vogt, who led the Cleveland Guardians to a dramatic come-from-behind victory, was selected as the American League Coach of the Year in the 2025 season.

Vogt ranked first with 113 points as a result of the American League Manager of the Year vote released by the American Baseball Journalists Association (BBWAA) on the 12th (Korea Standard Time) with 17 first-place votes, 8 second-place votes, and 4 third-place votes.

He was honored to be named coach of the year in recognition of his contribution to leading a dramatic come-from-behind victory in league history.

Coach John Schneider, who led the Toronto Blue Jays to the district championship, ranked second with 91 points overall, 10 first-place votes, 11 third-place votes, 8 third-place votes.

Coach Dan Wilson, who led the Seattle Mariners to their first district championship since 2001, ranked third with two first-place votes, nine second-place votes, and 13 third-place votes.

Alex Cora (Boston) A.J. Hinch (Detroit) Joe Espada (Houston) got the vote.
