More than a year after being damaged by Hurricane Milton, fans can witness the Trop’s redesigned spaces and enhancement.
ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. — The Tampa Bay Rays are set to return to their home at Tropicana Field for the 2026 MLB season, and fans have a chance to purchase single-game tickets.
More than a year after being damaged by Hurricane Milton, fans can witness the Trop’s redesigned spaces and enhancements, including an expanded main videoboard, new video displays behind home plate and along both foul poles, a new sound system and refreshed suite interiors.
There are also new premium seating options with upgraded seats and locations, and new all-inclusive ticket packages for Rays fans as well.
Although fans are unable to access the Trop, they can visit the Premium Preview Center featuring a full-scale replica of the new seat and an interactive virtual tour that lets guests experience the exact view from their chosen location.
How I can purchase single-game Rays tickets
Tickets are available starting at 2 p.m. Thursday and can be purchased in the MLB Ballpark app or on the Rays’ website.
In addition to new seating options, pricing is reduced by an average of 15% for more than two-thirds of seats at Tropicana Field compared to 2024. The Rays fan-friendly $10 tickets will also be available for all home games during the 2026 regular season.
Guests can also take part in a new Opening Day BOGO ticket offer where fans who purchase a single-game ticket for Rays Opening Day between Thursday and Sunday will receive an email the following week with a code valid for a free ticket to any April or May home game.
One complimentary ticket for each Opening Day ticket purchased will be distributed, up to a maximum of six tickets per account with select blackout dates.
“We are excited to return home to Tropicana Field in April and to once again join our fans and neighboring businesses in downtown St. Petersburg in celebrating the return of Rays Baseball,” Tampa Bay Rays CEO Ken Babby said in a statement. “As we open single-game ticket sales, we’re proud to offer a variety of additional options that make it easy for fans across the region to be part of the experience. This season is all about energy, excitement, and rallying behind the Rays as we chase every victory together!”
