Marte was named to the All-MLB First Team at second base for the second straight season, while Carroll earned his second honor on the All-MLB Second Team as an outfielder.
Consistency has been Marte’s recipe for success, especially on offense. In 2025, he ranked among National League leaders with a .893 OPS, a .376 on-base percentage and a .517 slugging percentage. As a switch-hitter and veteran presence in the Diamondbacks’ lineup, he capitalizes on opportunities to provide a spark to a young team.

Meanwhile, Carroll has showcased value in multiple areas. Whether it’s his power bat, speed on the bases or his ability to leg out triples (he led the league with 17), he has established himself as one of the faces of the franchise early in his career. Carroll also led the National League with a .541 slugging percentage, 305 total bases and 107 runs.
Having two All-MLB selections highlights the Diamondbacks’ ability to build a core with both established veterans and rising stars. As Arizona has continued to gain mainstream attention over the past three seasons, the Diamondbacks are no longer just a team in MLB but a legitimate threat when things click.

Both Marte and Carroll’s honors affirm the leadership and long-term impact they provided for the Diamondbacks this season. As players who battled injuries and missed significant stretches, they returned as if they had never left, testing both their resilience and work ethic.
The accolades also show that Arizona has been doing what it needs to remain in top-offensive team conversations, particularly fueled by Marte and Carroll.
The game’s finest.
