MILWAUKEE, WI (WSAU) — For the second straight year Milwaukee Brewers president of baseball operations, Matt Arnold, took home MLB’s Executive of the Year honors.
With a limited budget Arnold put together a roster that advanced to the National League Championship Series.
The moves included signing free agent pitcher Jose Quintana in the off-season and acquiring third baseman Caleb Durbin as part of the Devin Williams trade.
During the season, Arnold traded for Quinn Priester and Andrew Vaughn who both became key contributors for Milwaukee this season.
The roster also includes many other players brought in by Arnold including Isacc Collins, William Contreras and most of the Milwaukee bullpen.
