What in house Marlins player that didn’t debut in 2025 are you most excited to see in the bigs in 2026?

Mike Ferguson: I think a lot of Marlins fans would give you this same answer, but I’m going to go with catcher Joe Mack. We had a lot of fun this past season watching Agustin Ramirez hit baseballs, but when it came to catching them – not as much. Liam Hicks was a pleasant surprise last season, but Mack is probably already the best defensive catcher in the Marlins’ organization and has really come into his own with the bat, hitting 45 home runs over the last two seasons in the minors.

Ryan Schlesinger: If Miami pulls the trigger and gives him the call, I’d be most excited to see Thomas White at the big league level in 2026. He is, in my opinion, the best left-handed pitching prospect in the sport right now. I feel like his 145 strikeouts in 89.2 minor league innings last year speaks for itself. He has ace caliber stuff.

Marlin Maniac: I’m going to go with Robby Snelling here, although I would be just as willing to say Thomas White if he cracked the rotation instead with a Jose Fernandez-esque spring training. Bottom-line, I’m going with the high upside rookie pitcher that will be deepening the Marlins hopefully deep starting rotation. In fact, as neither one of them have a scary injury history or inconsistent track record yet, I’m going to be more excited about said rookie starting pitcher than I am about any Miami starter not named Sandy Alcantara or Eury Perez.

Seeing as how those rookie Marlins pitchers will never be pitching in the ninth inning…
