Bradley’s post included photos from Lamb’s time in Arizona and a heartfelt message.

“From double hot tubbing in Visalia to roommates in the league,” Bradley wrote. “We stood in each other’s weddings, and now stand by each other in retirement. … Congrats on a hell of a career.”

Lamb spent 10 seasons in MLB, including seven with the Diamondbacks from 2014 to 2020. His 2017 campaign was his breakout season, hitting 30 home runs and helping Arizona secure a postseason berth. He last appeared in the majors in 2022.

Lamb was beloved by fans during his time in Arizona, rising from a young star to a veteran presence. He became a household name as soon as he made his debut in the desert, as he surged early in his career and earned an All-Star selection in 2017.

Over his MLB career, Lamb recorded a .235 batting average with 96 home runs, 342 RBIs, 7.4 WAR and 335 runs scored.

The All-Star has not yet publicly announced his retirement himself or addressed Bradley’s post.
