We had our first “thing that qualifies as snow” of the season here yesterday/last night. My older kid loudly exclaimed, “My dream came true!” as she cleared the front door. Was her dream something between a dusting and half an inch of accumulation? Probably not. My younger kid got to experience crunching snow underfoot for the first time and was completely oblivious to the twin waterfalls of snot plunging from her nostrils. Ah, youth.
