Fortunately, they have Fernando Tatis Jr. signed to a 14-year, $340 million contract, and he remains the focal point of San Diego’s lineup. After completing his sixth season with the Padres, the future remains bright for Tatis as he looks to lead San Diego back into contention in 2026.
In the meantime, Tatis has shifted his focus back toward giving back to his community. He recently attended SauceGiving, an annual charity event organized by Puerto Rican artist Eladio Carrion through his Sauce for a Cause foundation.
