Brewers named 2025’s Baseball Organization of the Year

  • December 8, 2025

MADISON, Wis. (WMTV) – Baseball America has named the Milwaukee Brewers as their 2025 Baseball Organization of the Year, officials announced Monday.

Pat Murphy was also awarded the title of Major League Manager of the Year.

Baseball America’s Organization of the Year celebrates teams in the Major League level that have success in their season, as well as in scouting, coaching, and other aspects.

The 2025 award is the fifth time the Brewers have received the title, the most of any team in the MLB. The Brewers took the crown in 1985-87, 2018, and now 2025.

The recognition comes off a record-breaking season for the Brew Crew, who set a franchise record 97 wins, giving them the best record in baseball (97-65). The Crew also qualified for the postseason for the seventh time in eight seasons. For the third year in a row, the Crew took home the title of National League Central Division champions.

The Brewers also held the title for having the top farm system in baseball, according to Baseball America’s midseason rankings that released in August. The team currently has five Top 100 prospects on its roster – infielders Jesús Made (#3), Luis Peña (#13), and Cooper Pratt (#44 overall), as well as catcher Jeferson Quero (#66) and pitcher Logan Henderson (#93 overall).

This is the second time a Brewers manager has taken the Major League Manager of the Year title. Murphy comes in behind Craig Counsell, who was honored in 2019.

Murphy was named the 20th manager in Brewers franchise history in November of 2023, when he replaced Counsell. Before his time as manager, he spent eight seasons (2016-23) as a bench coach for the team.

Congratulations, Brew Crew!
