The Diamondbacks open their Spring Training season against the Rockies on Feb. 20.

PHOENIX — Tickets for Arizona Diamondbacks spring training games at Salt River Fields will go on sale Thursday, Dec. 11.

Fans can purchase tickets on the Diamondbacks’ website starting at 10 a.m. Arizona time Thursday.

Those looking to buy early can access a presale running through Wednesday, Dec. 10. The presale expires at midnight, and buyers must use the code “26SRF” at checkout.

The Diamondbacks open spring training Feb. 20 with a matchup against the Colorado Rockies. Their final game at Salt River Fields is set for March 21.

Fans traveling to State 48 for spring training can also use the “trip planner” on the Cactus League website to build a custom schedule, find things to do beyond the ballpark, and access helpful tips to make the most of a visit to the Grand Canyon State.


Arizona sports 

The city of Phoenix is home to four major professional sports league teams: The NFL’s Arizona Cardinals, the NBA’s Phoenix Suns, the WNBA’s Phoenix Mercury, and MLB’s Arizona Diamondbacks.

The Cardinals have made State Farm Stadium in Glendale their home turf, and the Footprint Center in downtown Phoenix is home to both the Suns and the Mercury. The Indoor Football League’s Arizona Rattlers play at Desert Diamond Arena in Glendale. 

Phoenix also has a soccer team with the USL’s Phoenix Rising FC, who play at Phoenix Rising FC Stadium in Phoenix. 

The Valley hosts multiple major sporting events yearly, including college football’s Fiesta Bowl and Guaranteed Rate Bowl; the PGA Tour’s highest-attended event, the WM Phoenix Open; NASCAR events each spring and fall, including Championship Weekend in November; and Cactus League Spring Training for 15 Major League Baseball franchises.
