John Cena’s final match will honor his illustrious WWE career

John Cena will have his last match in Washington, D.C. Jordan Mendoza says get your tissues ready, this will be a fond farewell.

A Randy Savage “Big Rubber Guys” figure in Cincinnati Reds gear was announced by the collectmajor.com company in July and the wrestling legend’s collectible was made available for preorder on Dec. 5.

Savage, who died in 2011, played in the Reds’ farm system under his real name, Randy Poffo, appearing in 131 games for Tampa in 1974.

The figure features “The Macho Man” in one of his famous ring outfits, only this time with the red and white colors of the Cincinnati Reds. He has a Reds logo on both his shirt and jacket.

The finished product will have a different hat than in the prototype image, the company said on its social media.The special edition figure is available for preorder on the company’s website for $49.99 and is expected to ship in February.

Savage also made a famous, controversial appearance in the Reds’ radio booth on Sept. 21, 1989. Appearing on the air with Marty Brennaman and Joe Nuxhall, Savage caught the attention of players and fans during the game. It also caught the attention of Reds president Marge Schott, who had him thrown out of the booth.

“If a celebrity like Macho Man can’t go into the booth, who can?” Reds star Eric Davis said of the incident after game. “If it had been a guy from pet control, he’d have been welcome.”
