Thanks to the always reliable MLB Trade Rumors, we know that the St. Louis Cardinals are signing right-handed pitcher Dustin May if all goes well with the physical based on a share by Jeff Passan on X.
In 25 games during 2025, Dustin May had a 4.96 ERA, but was on the injured list much of September.
As this is a developing story, it will be updated with terms of the contract once those are shared and confirmed by the St. Louis Cardinals. There’s a preliminary report from MLB.com that it’s a one-year deal. Chris Cotillo says there’s a mutual option for 2027.
