Kipton Lewis, W-SR Wrestling

Went 4-0 at the Iowa City Duals on Saturday, December 13 with two wins by fall, one by technical fall and one forfeit. Currently holds an 11-1 record on the year.

Boden White, Denver Wrestling

Passed the 150 career wins mark at the South Winn Invite on Friday, December 12. Currently holds an 11-0 record on the year.

Girls

Amalia Djoumessi, Waverly-Shell Rock Wrestling

Won the Council Bluffs Classic by going 6-0 in her matches, each of which was won by fall. In the finals, defeated Nebraska state champion Addeline Graser by pin in just 12 seconds.

Mylee Thurm, Denver Basketball

Scored 25 points on 10-for-11 shooting and added nine rebounds in the Cyclones’ Friday, December 12 game against Aplington-Parkersburg. Is currently averaging 13.3 points and 10 rebounds per game.
