Both teams like players from the other team. The one thing they don’t have to learn about a player from a team that plays in NY is whether they can handle the market or not. I don’t know if you’ve ever noticed it, or not, but some very good players have come to both the Yankees and Mets, and taken a year to fully acclimate to the market. It’s a common occurrence.
