Each year, Baseball America develops its Top 30 Prospects rankings for the Prospect Handbook. Our 2026 Handbook is available for pre-order now, with a digital version due out in January and print copies mailing in March.
In recent years, we have added a new wrinkle: evaluating and ranking the top overall graduated prospects from last year’s Prospect Handbook. The goal is to give prospects-turned-big leaguers their due before we say farewell and turn our attention to the next wave of talent working its through the minor leagues.
Below, you can find the top 50 graduated prospects for 2025. Players are ranked by BA Grade, which gauges each player’s realistic upside on the 20-80 scouting scale. A Risk assessment deducts points—15 for High, 10 for Average, five for Mild and none for Low—to determine each prospect’s Tier. Each player’s listed age is his baseball age in 2026.
You can find more detailed breakdowns of the top 30 graduated prospects from the AL here and NL here.
