Chiefs Moving to Kansas! Building New $3 Billion Dome StadiumThe Kansas City Chiefs are moving from Missouri to Kansas and building a new $3 billion dome stadium. After more than 60 years at Arrowhead Stadium, that era officially comes to an end in 2031. Kansas Governor Laura Kelly and Chiefs owner Clark Hunt confirmed the move, opting for a new state-of-the-art dome stadium over a $1 billion renovation of Arrowhead. The new dome stadium in Wyandotte County opens up opportunities for hosting Super Bowls, college football championships, concerts, and year-round events. The current Arrowhead Stadium, built in 1972, is the third oldest stadium in the NFL.
