It doesn’t get much more annoying for the Yankees than games like last night. It was miserable to attend due to the weather, there were multiple starts and stops, and just when it seemed like the Yanks would skate (swim?) to a shutout win, Devin Williams fell apart again. Luke Weaver didn’t help unfortunately in his first bad game of 2025 as the 3-0 lead in the eighth slipped away, but it was more of the same for Devin. Moral of the story: never walk Tyler Wade.

Today on the site, Nolan will look back on the last week of minor-league action and Scott will focus in on Scranton’s successful six-game swing through Syracuse. Madison will have the Rivalry Roundup, Jeff will handle our 2000 Yankees Diary entry for the day, and Jeremy will examine how Yankees pitching has had to tweak their fastball strategy on the MLB level on the fly.
