While the San Francisco Giants missed the postseason, there are still things that happened this past year that should excite the fanbase.
They have dramatically improved their farm system in 2025. They went from being ranked 28th to being ranked 18th at the end of the 2025 season.
Their top prospect, Bryce Eldridge, is one fans will want to pay attention to. He is also expected to make a big contribution to the club in 2026, but he is not the only one that fans will want to familiarize themselves with.

Giants fans urged to keep a close eye on their undrafted prospect infielder
One name that fans will want to keep an eye on this upcoming season is No. 22 prospect Parks Harber. He is a corner infielder who signed with the New York Yankees in 2024 after going undrafted.
Bleacher Report’s Joel Reuter believes he is a player who could climb up the prospect rankings if he continues to develop as he has been.
“Harber posted a .928 OPS and slugged 54 home runs in 206 games over a four-year collegiate career, and he hit .323/.420/.550 with 21 doubles, 13 home runs, and 64 RBI in 79 games between Single-A and High-A in his pro debut. The Yankees traded him to the Giants at the deadline as part of the Camilo Doval deal, and he closed out 2025 by posting a .383/.513/.683 line with 12 extra-base hits in 17 games in the AFL.”
Power is a big part of Harber’s game, and he has shown it so far. He can provide great power to all sides of the field.
If he can continue to hone in on that power and work on other parts of his game, he could be one prospect that drastically rises in the rankings in 2026.
