Good morning, baseball fans! And Merry Christmas to those who celebrate!
Yesterday, I asked you all about the best San Francisco Giants related gifts that you have received. But since it is the season of giving, today I’d like to know about the best Giants related gifts that you’ve given.
I think I have to go with the tickets I gave my dad for Christmas in 2010 for the 2011 season. My dad is the reason I’m a Giants fan, and going with him to games in high school was how I really fell in love with the team. So getting to take him to a game in 2011 after they won their first World Series in either of our lifetimes was really awesome for many reasons. First, I spent big (for a 25 year old) and got us some pretty great seats where we were front row and looking straight down at Cody Ross. It was also the trophy replica giveaway day, so getting those was pretty dang cool. And of course, getting to spend the day with my dad, watching Giants baseball, there’s not much better than that.
