Yankees star Jazz Chisholm Jr enjoyed an extra special Christmas by proposing to his girlfriend Ahnalys Santiago.
The baseball star, who has a year left on his $90million, six-year contract with New York, popped the question to the artist known as Ahna Mac on Christmas day.
Chisholm surprised his now-fiancee during a holiday vacation to Finland, getting down on one knee with the Northern Lights visible in the sky.
‘I can’t stop crying,’ Santiago wrote on social media. ‘I love you so much… WTF (what the f***)… you tricked me @_jazz3.’
She added: ‘I’m not Da Gurl anymore yallllll I’m DA WIFEEEEEEEE… I guess when you know you know & he ain’t playing bout me AHHH.’
It capped an eventual Christmas day for the couple, who earlier went viral after performing sexual acts in the mirror while dressed as the Grinch.

The Yankees star later shared a video of himself and Santiago enjoying a Christmas Day meal before the singer-songwriter posted footage of her engagement ring.Â
She was overcome with emotion and posted: ‘I [have] been through the worst that life could give me and I prayed so much for a better life to be loved correctly and to be secure in life. This is crazy.’
In recent days, rumors have suggested that Chisholm could be traded away from New York after just one-and-a-half seasons in The Bronx.
The infielder has been linked with moves to the Dodgers, the Mariners, the Mets and plenty of other teams.
Last season, Chisholm batted .242 – the lowest mark since his rookie season when he played just 21 games – while hitting a career-best 31 home runs and 80 RBI.Â
