EASTLAKE, OH — The seedings and matchups for the NCAA Division III Baseball World Series are set, as the final eight teams get underway on Friday, May 30.
The tournament will be hosted by the North Coast Athletic Conference and Greater Cleveland Sports Commission at Classic Auto Park in Eastlake, OH, home of the Lake County Captains, the High-A minor league affiliate of the Cleveland Guardians.
Kean will be the No. 5 seed and Rowan the No. 7 seed, as the two NJAC programs look to continue their hot streak into the final week of the NCAA championship.
Kean, coming off a Super Regional win over Salve Regina, will face fourth-seeded Endicott in the opening round on Friday at 10:00 AM. Also in Kean’s pool are No. 1 Johns Hopkins and No. 8 Messiah.
Rowan, coming off a Super Regional sweep of Lynchburg, opens with second-seeded Denison on Friday at 4:45 PM. Also in Rowan’s pool are No. 3 Wisconsin-Whitewater and No. 6 Trinity (TX).
The tournament features double-elimination pool play. The victors of each pool will meet for a best-of-three championship series on June 4-5.
