Paul Skenes debuts New Year's look while out with Livvy Dunne

The 2026 MLB season is around the corner and one of baseball’s top stars will be sporting a different look for the Pittsburgh Pirates.

Ace Paul Skenes will be closely watched this season for the Pirates as trade rumors continue to swirl.

However, baseball fans noticed that Paul Skenes has a new facial appearance in the new year. During a night out with celebrity girlfriend Livvy Dunne, Skenes sported a clean-shaven look without his trademark mustache.

The powercouple have been spotted many times this offseason at sporting events and other occasions. Dunne even had a playful moment with the New Jersey Devils mascot during their night out at an NHL game.

Last season, Skenes backed up his incredible rookie campaign with another stellar year for Pittsburgh. Paul Skenes has posted back-to-back years with a sub-2.0 ERA and double-digit wins in spite of the Pirates’ poor offense to back him up.

Skenes is linked to a move away from the Pirates, and many around baseball believe that his next destination could be the New York Yankees.

The young pitching star recently earned a call up to Team USA for the 2026 World Baseball Classic. Team USA will look to capture their second title in the history of the competition and dethrone current winners Japan.
