Big Papi makes hilarious appearance on ‘The Masked Singer’ – NBC Boston

Red Sox legend David Ortiz surprised the audience on an episode of Fox’s “The Masked Singer” music show on Wednesday.

Sporting a “Googly Eyes” suit,” Big Papi stole the show with the biggest costume in the show’s history, and performed DJ Snake and Lil Jon’s song “Turn Down for What.”

During the performance, which was part of the Season 14 premiere, Big Papi sported a gigantic red suit and was accompanied by pink furry dancers.

Ortiz told the show’s host that being inside the suit was like exercising intensely.

“I’ve got to tell you, man, that’s a straight-up workout right there,” Ortiz said. “I don’t need to go to the gym for about a month. But it was so much fun, man, it was so much fun.”
