The role is for a social media assistant, meaning you will get to work with the Blue Jays’ content and production team. Responsibilities include things such as assisting with publishing daytime social media content, writing entertaining, accurate social media copy, and staying up to date on trends across several social media platforms, including Instagram, TikTok, Snapchat and more.
There are also a number of qualifications the hiring brass is looking for in their candidate. Firstly, they are hoping to find somebody with a bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or a related field. For those who may not have that, equivalent work-related experience gained in the last three years also suffices.
Applicants will also need strong copywriting and copy-editing skills, and a basic understanding of Adobe applications such as Photoshop, Lightroom, and Premiere. The expected compensation to begin this will is $25 per hour.Â
