With opening day just under a month away, college baseball programs around the country are preparing for the 2026 campaign.

One of those programs — our very own Clemson Tigers — will enter the season as the No. 19 team in the country, according to D1Baseball. Such a ranking improves Clemson’s streak of consecutive weeks ranked by at least one poll to 45.

The ACC is well-represented in the top-25 poll with No. 5 Georgia Tech, No. 8 Louisville, No. 11 UNC, No. 16 Florida State, No. 17 NC State, No. 21 Wake Forest and No. 22 Miami.

The Tigers’ conference schedule will surely test them in 2026, as they face off against Georgia Tech and Miami in March before taking on Wake Forest in a non-conference midweek game. As the season progresses, Clemson will also play a weekend series against UNC, Louisville and FSU.

In anticipation of opening day, the Tigers will be hosting their annual “We Like To Party” preseason banquet on Feb. 7 at the Poe Indoor Football Practice Facility from 2-5 p.m.

The event will have games, inflatables, music, a silent auction, food trucks and opportunities to meet and greet Clemson players and coaches. Clemson students and children under 12 are admitted to the event free of charge. General admission tickets are $40 and can be purchased online.

While the Tigers have experienced varying levels of success over their last few seasons under head coach Erik Bakich, they have yet to return to Omaha, a feat the program hasn’t accomplished since 2010. Clemson hosted an NCAA Regional in each of the last three seasons and hosted an NCAA Super Regional in 2024.

The Tigers will begin their season on Feb. 13 with a three-game series against Army West Point at Doug Kingsmore Stadium.
