(Minneapolis, MN)–The Minnesota Twins are inching closer to spring training this year. The Twins will have a new look and feel with their new manager Derek Shelton.
Pitchers and catchers are scheduled to report to spring training on Feb. 12 in Fort Myers with position players mandated to report by Feb. 16.
The Twins have an exhibition against the University of Minnesota on Friday, Feb. 20 and open Grapefruit League play against Boston on Saturday, Feb. 21.
The regular season begins at Baltimore on Mar. 26, and their home opener will be with Tampa Bay on Apr. 3 at Target Field.
