The Cincinnati Reds traded from their bullpen on Thursday, sending right-handed pitcher Yosver Zulueta to the Seattle Mariners.The Reds received minor league right-handed pitcher Dusty Revis in exchange for Zulueta.Zulueta, 27, appeared in 19 games out of Cincinnati’s bullpen over the last two seasons, with seven of those appearances in 2025.In 23.2 innings across two seasons, Zulueta allowed 14 earned runs, struck out 25 and walked 11. He also gave up three home runs.Zulueta played a slightly larger role for the Reds in 2024, when he made 12 appearances out of the bullpen and ended the season with a 4.96 ERA.Zulueta was expected to compete for a spot at the back of the Reds’ bullpen entering spring training and will now try to do the same with Seattle.Revis, 22, was an 11th round pick out of Western Carolina University by the Mariners in the 2025 MLB Draft and hasn’t pitched in a professional game yet.Revis started 17 games between 2024 and 2025 with Western Carolina, including 15 starts last year. He struck out 78 with a 4.59 ERA for the Catamounts in 2025.
