The Texas Rangers scored five runs but the Chicago White Sox scored ten runs.
I don’t know what I could possibly write here.
The Rangers led 4-2 heading into the bottom of the sixth inning before they slathered their face in greasepaint, donned a red clown nose, slipped on a banana peel, shit their pants, and then rolled around in their mess as rubber chickens and balloon animals spilled out of their soiled baseball pants.
Before the inning ended, they trailed by four runs to a team that has lost 156 of their last 213 games over the last calendar year coming into today and had won just four series this season before guaranteeing a series victory today.
Player of the Game: Will Venable.
Up Next: The Rangers will try to avoid getting swept with a winless road trip with LHP Patrick Corbin set to pitch for Texas against RHP Davis Martin for Chicago.
The Sunday afternoon finale first pitch from Rate Field is scheduled for 1:10 pm CT and will be shown on the Rangers Sports Network.
