LA CROSSE, Wis. — Milwaukee Brewers manager Pat Murphy brought his winning experience to La Crosse on Saturday, appearing at the La Crosse Center for a special evening hosted by the La Crosse Loggers.

The 2025 National League Manager of the Year took the stage for a live question-and-answer session where he reflected on the team’s successful 2025 season, shared stories from his baseball career and fielded questions from local fans.

Murphy said the team prioritized attending communities that don’t regularly have access to the Brewers organization.

The veteran manager spoke passionately about what made the 2025 season particularly memorable, focusing on the transformation he witnessed in his players throughout the year.

“I was saying this today, I remember most is the look on their faces when they went from not believing to believing, you know, and when you see that in your players, that’s a great feeling,” Murphy said. “I think of that perspective, I think of Jack-Jack when he got on a roll there and, you know, I think that big smile and I think about guys that and Caleb Durbin, when he realized I belong in the big leagues and, those are things that are just priceless.”

During the live interview, Murphy showcased the personality that has endeared him to players and fans alike. He entertained the audience with numerous jokes and even ate one of his signature pocket pancakes while on stage, creating an informal and engaging atmosphere for attendees.

The event provided La Crosse area baseball fans with a rare opportunity to hear directly from one of the game’s most respected managers. Murphy’s visit represents part of the Brewers’ broader community outreach efforts to connect with fans throughout Wisconsin and the surrounding region.

The La Crosse Loggers, a Northwoods League team, served as hosts for the evening, bringing professional baseball insight to their local fanbase during the offseason.

Murphy’s recognition as National League Manager of the Year caps off what was clearly a transformative season for the Milwaukee organization, with the manager emphasizing the personal growth and confidence building he witnessed in his players as the most rewarding aspect of their success.

The visit to La Crosse demonstrates the Brewers’ commitment to maintaining strong ties with communities throughout their regional fanbase, ensuring that baseball fans who may not regularly attend games in Milwaukee still have opportunities to connect with the organization.
