The Toronto Blue Jays are set to celebrate their 50th MLB season, and they’ve got a new logo to commemorate it.
When the Jays take to the field this March, fans should expect a little change to their classic uniforms. The main jerseys and logo will remain the same, but a new retro-inspired patch will be added to the right sleeve of the team’s main four jerseys. The logo will be featured on player hats when they wear their City Connect uniforms.
Toronto revealed the logo on Tuesday, which features the team’s original mark that helps form a bold “50 Seasons” design. It certainly is a sharp look.
It’s been a long and illustrious run for the Jays since they joined MLB for their inaugural season in 1977. In that time, Toronto has managed to bring two World Series titles (1992, 1993) north of the border, as well as three AL Pennants (1992, 2015, 2025), and seven AL East Division titles (1985, 1989, 1991, 1992, 1993, 2015, 2025).
The new logo reveal is just the start of the festivities in Toronto. Opening Night will kick off the 2026 season with a special on-field celebration of both the reigning AL Champions and the club’s half-century of history.
The Blue Jays also announced that several installations commemorating the team’s history will be unveiled in the Rogers Centre’s 100-level. This is on top of a host of new renovations debuting at the stadium next season.
In addition to the logo, the team teased that their 2026 promotional schedule will have a bit of a retro flair, paying tribute to the Blue Jays’ most iconic players and moments. That schedule is set to be revealed on Feb. 2, next month.
If that wasn’t enough, the reigning American League champions will offer a number of giveaways, contests, and event nights scattered throughout the season.
Single-game Jays tickets will go on sale this Thursday. Opening Night against the Athletics is set for March 27.
