Former Fond du Lac Dock Spiders standout and current Milwaukee Brewers third baseman Caleb Durbin returned to familiar territory Tuesday night for an invite‑only event at the Fond du Lac Beer Company.

The gathering highlighted the rapid rise of the young Brewers infielder, who reflected on his journey from Division III college baseball to his summer in Fond du Lac during the 2020 season. Durbin also discussed being drafted by the Atlanta Braves, his subsequent trade to the New York Yankees, and the path that ultimately brought him to Milwaukee.

The hour‑long conversation was hosted by former KFIZ personality and Fond du Lac native Bart Winkler and included an audience Q&A session. One of the most memorable moments came at the end of the night, when Durbin FaceTimed Brewers manager Pat Murphy to the delight of the crowd.

Also speaking at the event were Fond du Lac Dock Spiders President/Owner Rob Zerjav and General Manager/Co-Owner Jim Misudek

KFIZ’s Nick Van Nocker attended a media session with Durbin prior to the event. Below are Durbin’s comments from that availability.
