Terrence Kiel II made himself known at Texas A&M during his freshman season in 2025. He had a .294 batting average, 11 doubles, and 26 RBIs while starting in 54 games for the Aggies. Kiel II was also a speed threat with 12 stolen bases in 2025. He led Texas A&M in stolen bases.
His .294 batting average was the third-best one on the team behind Caden Sorrell and Wyatt Henseler.
Kiel II’s best hitting game of the season came on April 5 against the Tennessee Volunteers in Knoxville. During the first game of a doubleheader that day, he stole three bases, tallied three hits, and scored two runs himself. He had two hits in the second game of the doubleheader against Tennessee as well.
Kiel II was also a great defender. He had a 1.000 fielding percentage with no errors and totaled 101 putouts.
Kiel II, Other Texas A&M Returners, Motivated Heading Into 2026
The Texas A&M Aggies had a disappointing 2025 season.
D1 Baseball ranked them as the number one overall team in the country in their preseason rankings. However, what followed was the Aggies managing to barely be above .500 with a 30-26 overall record.
Texas A&M also missed the NCAA Tournament completely.
The returners to College Station in 2026 will be motivated to get back to playing competitive baseball. One of those returners is Kiel II. This makes him a great candidate to have a breakout year in his sophomore season.
Up Next for Texas A&M
The Texas A&M Aggies will begin the 2026 college baseball season against the Tennessee Tech Golden Eagles on February 13.
The game will be at Blue Bell Park in College Station with the first pitch scheduled for 7 p.m. EST.
