MILWAUKEE, Wis. — For the fourth time in the last four years, the Milwaukee Brewers have made a significant move by trading away a star pitcher for prospects. This time, the team bids farewell to Freddy Peralta, a two-time All-Star who has been a key part of the Brewers’ pitching staff for eight seasons.
We caught up with some of Freddy’s teammates to get their thoughts on this surprising change and what it means for the team moving forward.
“Freddy, you know, meant a lot to us. He’s a great guy in our clubhouse. Obviously, what he does on the field speaks for itself. So obviously, you know, there’s a loss there, but at the same time, you know, very excited about, the future ahead. The Brewers do a really good job at bringing in the right people,” said Caleb Durbin.
