DULUTH, Minn. (Northern News Now) – Grab your peanuts and crackerjacks because the Minnesota Twins Winter Caravan Tour is making a pitstop in Duluth among its four-state, nine-city tour.
Fans will be able to meet and get autographs from pitchers Justin Topa and Mick Abel, bullpen coach LaTroy Hawkins, sports commentator Cory Provus and mascot T.C. Bear.
Fans attending each event are encouraged to bring non-perishable food goods that will be donated to a designated local nonprofit.
“This year we’re going to be doing non-perishable food donations for Second Harvest Northland,” said Bruce Ciskie, Sport Director at Midwest Communications. “Of course the need is great especially this time of year, so we’re hoping we can help them out today.”
This free event takes place at Elite Sports Complex.
Doors open at 11:30 a.m. and the Twins are expected to arrive at noon.
