UNC baseball’s Scott Forbes, Tar Heels discuss FSU, ACC Tournament
Following UNC baseball’s semifinal win vs. FSU in the 2025 ACC Tournament, head coach Scott Forbes, Alex Madera and Perry Hargett discussed the win.
DURHAM — It’ll be UNC baseball vs. Clemson in the championship game of the 2025 ACC Tournament.
After not playing during the regular season, the third-ranked Tar Heels (41-12) and No. 12 Clemson (44-15) will meet with a trophy up for grabs on Sunday, May 25 (Noon, ESPN2) at the Durham Bulls Athletic Park.
The Tigers have won a league-best 11 ACC Tournament championships, including a 2023 title the last time the event was played in Durham. The Tar Heels have eight tournament trophies, aiming for its first since taking the crown in 2022 in Charlotte.
UNC has a 14-17 record against Clemson in the ACC Tournament, including a 10-4 loss to the Tigers in the 2023 ACC Tournament at the Durham Bulls Athletic Park. The Tar Heels have won the championship in each of their last five appearances (1990, 2007, 2013, 2019, 2022).
