Detroit Lakes, MN (KDLM) – The Minnesota Twins are moving on from one of their back-up catchers.
The team traded Jhonny Pereda to the Seattle Mariners yesterday. The M’s sent the Twins cash to complete the deal. Minnesota originally designated Pereda for assignment after signing reliever Taylor Rogers last week.
Pereda his .345 in 11 games with the Twins last season.
