New Mexico head coach Tod Brown talked about the Lobos making home baseball games free to the public.
“It’s just another way to lift the barriers of entry for people to come enjoy some great college baseball in Albuquerque,” said Brown. “We’re hoping that it leads to a higher level of engagement with our young baseball players and the community at large.”
Since returning to Lobo Baseball Field in March of 2013, New Mexico has a home record of 203-116-2.
This move back to Lobo Baseball Field came after nine seasons in Isotopes Park. That ballpark is regularly home to the Albuquerque Isotopes, who are the Triple-A affiliate of the Colorado Rockies.

New Mexico had a great record at home in 2025 as well. The Lobos were 19-8 in games at Lobo Baseball Field.
